The Story So Far

Hello everyone! I'm Andreas , founder of 4Techs . After completing my mechanical engineering studies in Aachen, I gained over ten years of experience as a graduate engineer in design engineering at various industrial companies. Initially as a design engineer in special-purpose machine construction, very soon as a group leader, and most recently as head of design at globally operating companies.
Management, however, is not my life's goal – my passion and my calling have always been the development, design, and creation of structures as close to perfection as possible. With the breakthrough of 3D printing technology for home users by the company PRUSA, this possibility became a tangible reality!

In 2020, this led to the creation of 4Techs Research and Development – a small, excellent company based in Dorsten , which mainly specializes in the development and manufacture of special parts for home and professional tradespeople .

The idea originated in my workshop: While working with my circular saw, I realized the enormous potential this machine holds when optimized in key areas. Sophisticated and precise 3D-printed parts offer the perfect solution – better than any existing products on the market.

My goal was clear: to develop parts for users like myself that are precise, affordable, and as sustainable as possible – meaning robust, durable, and reusable. That's what 4Techs R&D stands for.

Today there are three of us: Annika and Janis support me with production, assembly, packaging, shipping and video production , so that you can get an insight into how our products are made and how you can use them.
And yes, we all love riding motorcycles :-).

In addition to our high-precision guide rails for table saws, we also offer a universal dust extraction system for handheld and stationary woodworking machines. It offers all the advantages of the expensive systems from top manufacturers – but costs only a fraction of the price and is virtually indestructible. Our product range is constantly being expanded.

The 4Techs snap-in adapter transforms a standard suction hose into a complete dust extraction system for the entire workshop: with swivel compensation , crush-resistant , without sharp edges , temperature resistant up to 120 °C and as a 100 snap-in adapter even suitable for very large chips.

Everything is created here in Dorsten , directly from my 3D printers . Initially there were four, now there are 20.
I develop, test and improve every part myself – with a passion for technology and the goal of making your work easier, cleaner and more efficient.

The 4Techs Racing and Carni 4Techs brands are also constantly being developed. Things are happening here! Feel free to check back regularly!
